RSV

Alli officially has RSV. BOO! She just had her shots Thursday and developed a little cough over the next few days. We didn't think a whole lot of it because it was so rare that she coughed and we were not sure if the runny nose was from the shots or from a cold. Then this morning the cough was more frequent and it sounded wet...so we knew something was up. We took her to grandpa and sure enough...RSV. We caught it pretty early so we're hoping that if we keep her nose salined and suctioned that it won't get too bad. The fever can set in over the next day or so and can last 4 days. The cough will progressively get worse and she can have it for 10 days! Poor baby! We have breathing treatments for her if it gets bad. Hopefully it won't. So I may be home bound for a while....
