We picked Pepper up from the vet today. She is doing well and was very excited to see us. She had been given a C - collar to wear. I don't have a picture of it but the idea was to keep her from licking her leg. We have taken it off of her because she was scratching at it so much. We will keep an eye on here and make sure she doesn't go after her sutures. She has been confined now to the kitchen. This will be her home sweet home for a few weeks. Here are some pictures of her progressive recovery.
Here is her Kitchen/Kennel...As you can see, Mitzi and Sammy miss Pepper and don't like being separated from her. They lay by her gate and rarely leave her.

Here is the lamp shade they put on Pepper when we brought her home from surgery. She was licking at her sutures and they put this horrendous thing on her. Luckily our vet was nicer to her and gave her the c-collar.

Poor Pepper. That is so cute that the other dogs does not leave the gate. I bet Pepper hates it too though. Her leg does look funny where it is all shaved. It will take a while for that to grow back out to because it seems like where they shaved that small spot on Bullet it is not growing back quickly at all. Trent says she is a very pretty dog (I do agree though).
