Grandma Love

We recently found out this week that my last living grandmother has a very bad case of viral pneumonia and has been in the hospital since last Saturday. She has been in and out of high fevers which are causing her to not be very responsive. They are having a hard time getting her to eat and she is diabetic so her sugar levels are all over the place. My aunt is keeping us all posted but it doesn't look very good right now. Her physician sounded concerned which has Janice putting the family on guard that we might not have grandmother around much longer. This couldn't come at a worse time. I really would want to go to the funeral or even go right now to see her one last time but so far along in this pregnancy I will never be able to go. We have a feeling that grandpa, being so emotionally attached to grandma, wont live much longer after she goes. From Janice's emails, it appears he is already preparing himself for her passing but there is no telling how great an impact this will have on his already fragile health. We'll see what happens in the upcoming days.
